Memorial Day - a day often filled with backyard barbecues, pool parties, and hometown parades. While these celebratory events take place in tribute to the sacrifices made by the U.S. Military men and women, it is imperative that we remember today is about memorializing those who gave everything they had- their most precious and priceless gift: their lives - for our great country. So today, whether you are sitting poolside or sweating by a BBQ pit, stop and take a moment to remember the reason you are free to do so.
To our Military Men and Women:Thank you for your service to our great country, for leaving your families so we can be at home with ours, for fighting so we may sleep in peace, and for paying the ultimate price for our freedom.
