Rooted in Faith

So much of what we do as titleholders is rooted in our faith.  We seek refuge in the Lord and share openly with Him during both times of trial and of happiness.  Your year of service and your preparation for the International Pageant is greatly enriched connecting with God often.  I have shared with you a few of my favorite verses when you need a little extra inspiration.   Regardless of your faith, I hope these words instill a sense of comfort and hope for you.

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you."

2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.  For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;  in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.

I ask you to share one of your favorite inspirational verses.  We are sisters not just through our crowns, but through our purpose.  Remember why we are titleholders and the real reason our crowns are valuable – for the positive impact that they can help us make.

Seek Happiness,

Jesse
