The Competitive Image Treatment

So what REALLY goes on behind the scenes at a photo shoot at the Competitive Image? Here’s the inside scoop!!!

Upon arrival you will be joined by Clay Spann, Joey Rutherford, and Terri Rubin. The first step of this magical process is deciding on the wardrobe. The team never fails to make contestants look and feel like true queens!

Once the outfits are decided on, the model heads over to the hair and makeup chair to get what I like to call the “Clay Spann treatment.” He dolls the models up with exquisite makeup and flawless hair! While this is happening you are surrounded by beautiful photos of previous queens. It sure does get you excited!

And then the best part of course… The photo shoot itself! I know it can be intimidating at first, but Clay really makes you feel at home. He will direct you on poses, facial directions, where to look, and facial expressions.

I even got a sneak peek of some of the photos!

Once the shoot is over, you will have the opportunity to purchase makeup products from Clay Spann Face! Trust me, you will want everything! The three national titleholders are generously gifted products for the entire year. It’s a dream come true!

The other half of the store is the Competitive Image wardrobe store! You will have the opportunity to try on the most beautiful gowns on the planet. Trust me, trying to pick which wardrobe pieces to take home is a near impossible task! Joey also sponsors the International queens with gowns throughout the year. We are so blessed!
