The Importance of Beauty Sleep

It’s no secret that everyone wants to beautiful. I could go into the endless definitions of beauty and discuss the role of inner beauty in today’s society, but that’s a different discussion for a different day. In this blog, I am going to focus on physical beauty and one of the BEST ways to obtain it. 

You can find endless beauty blogs explaining what kind of shampoo to use, how often to wash your hair, beauty hacks for smooth skin, superior makeup brands, and the list goes on…I’m here to tell you that being beautiful can be far less of a hassle and far less expensive than all the items listed above.

Beauty is as simple as beauty sleep!

In our overworked, over-stressed society, it is not uncommon to find people who sleep an average of 4 hours per night. Your body needs more rest than that- especially after what we put it through all day.

Some find it difficult to wind down after a long and actually get that sleep. Below I’ve listed several tips for you to try if you struggle with this.

*Take a Hot Shower/Bath

*Drink a Cup or Hot Tea

*Read a Good Book

*Put on Fuzzy Socks

*Put a Drop of Lavender Essential Oil on Your Pillow
