No Time to Waste

If you’ve read any of my previous blogs and even previous titleholders blogs, you may have heard us stress the importance of having a plan. I’ve recommended this several times when offering some interview tips. But this is not only important when it comes to the interview room, but just as important if you were to leave Charleston this July with the International title.

So, ask yourself this: What is my plan?

Are you able to answer this question? Because if you are the lucky one to hear your name called after “Your new Mrs./Miss/Teen International 2018 is….” you need to have a plan. A plan already in place! After winning a platform based, busy title as Mrs. International, there really isn’t time to start putting a plan together. That is why it is so important to have this figured out prior to competing. If you are that lucky one announced, you hit the ground running, and there is really no down time until before you know it, a year has come and gone.

Here are a few questions that you can start asking yourself now to help you in creating your plan:

What are you goals as Mrs./Miss/Teen International?

What are three things you want to accomplish this year?

How will you accomplish these?

Do you have a solid relationship in your platform’s network?

Can you rely on them utilizing you for consistent events? If not, take this time and find some organizations that can benefit by utilizing your skills.

These are just a few to help you get started preparing a solid attainable plan. Because the reality is, if you were to leave Charleston in July with this prestigious honor, you don’t want to waste any valuable time to make the impact you’ve been waiting for and to have the experience be all that you can make it be.

Turning Broken Into Brave,

Your Mrs. International 2017
