Let's Talk...Purpose
I feel like a lot of people struggle with knowing their purpose. I am a firm believer that God has a plan and a purpose for everything in life. You are reading this blog for a reason, you are in the town you live in for a reason, and the strangers that you meet are all strategically placed.
I am especially talking to the high school and college students reading this. It's okay to not know what you want to do with your life yet. As a senior in high school and a freshman in college what is the one question everyone asks? "What's your major?". At least that was my experience. Personally, I knew what I wanted to do, but some people didn't and that's okay. What I want you to realize is, just because you don't know your purpose, doesn't mean you don't have one.
There is so much pressure on my generation. Expectations are growing, and that's okay. What's not okay are the amount of people feeling inadequate because they cannot reach all of these unrealistic expectations. No one is perfect. We all make mistakes. You have probably heard that a million times from adults, and it is true. Take it from a fellow teen. The bottom line is: you may not know it yet, but God has an AMAZING purpose for you! So give yourself some grace and take time to find out what you truly want to do in life. "Embrace uncertainty. Some of the most beautiful chapters in our lives won't have a title until much later." - Bob Goff
