Winning on a Budget: Accessories
Accessories can definitely make an outfit really stand out, but that doesn’t mean they should break the bank! It’s important to include these things when you are planning your budget because you will need at least SOME accessories with every wardrobe change you have! Whether it’s earrings, rings, bracelets, or a fascinator for fun fashion – you will want to add something special to each outfit.
So how can you afford to have so many accessories?? My secret is costume jewelry from Sam Moon or Charming Charlie. (http://www.sammoon.com/) (http://www.charmingcharlie.com/home) How great are these places?
Well, I was able to get my earrings to match my evening gown perfectly, and they were…ELEVEN DOLLARS! Can you believe it? I was so excited. I also was able to buy 6 different earring options for interview, (at $2 a piece I just couldn’t decide!) earrings & a ring for fun fashion, & about 5 other earrings options for random outfits throughout the week. All of that for about $50 – that’s like stealing! And just a side note: these places are actually great to everyday jewelry too.
If you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for at a place like that, never underestimate the power of DIY (do it yourself!). Sometimes that’s the very best way to get exactly what you want. If you want a flower for your hair but you just can’t find the right one – make it! No one will ever know the difference.
