Red Out
Ashford High School hosted a “Red Out” game recently. It was a huge success! I am so proud of our student body for raising money and awareness for the American Heart Association’s “Rock the Beat” campaign. Our goal was to raise $3,000 dollars. That night, after all of the money from our various fundraisers was counted, we raised over $6,300!
More importantly, we were able to raise awareness in our community about the importance of a heart-healthy lifestyle. I hope that you all take part in the “Rock the Beat” campaign and take this opportunity to teach others about the benefits of a heart-healthy lifestyle, as well.
As promised, our administrators and teachers died their hair red for the pep rally and game that Friday!
