Miss International at the DC Heart Walk

The International Pageant System has an Alliance with the American Heart Association, so even though it is not my platform, I get the honor of spreading Heart Health Awareness as Miss International!

I decided to attend the Start! Heart Walk here in DC. It was put on by the American Heart Association whose goal is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular disease and stroke.

When I found out Juliana & Deanna were going to be in attendance as well, we decided to meet up at the event. Juliana’s platform deals with promoting good heart health and so does Deanna Linz’s platform. Deanna is Mrs. Northeast International. Just try to keep these two away from an event promoting heart health!

The best part of the day was there were other International Queens in attendance as well! Chelsey Rodgers, Miss DC International, and Alexis Harvery, Miss DC Teen International were there to show their support. Chelsey even sang at the event!
