Minnesota State Fair Parade

The “Great Minnesota Get-Together” was true to form, with hundreds of thousands entering the gates each day during the 12 day run! The fair’s history dates back to 1855, and it is the second largest state fair in the country. Krista, Gabby and I were invited to ride on the visiting royalty float during the parade on Sunday, September 2nd, which we gladly accepted!

It was a gorgeous day; however, the end of the state fair in Minnesota represents the end of summer. For anyone familiar with our part of the world, this is bitter sweet…as autumn brings for many welcomed cooler weather, football, and changing leaves…but also, the close to summer vacation, shortened daylight, and bitter cold is soon to follow.

For the three of us, we soaked in the sunshine, enjoyed the crowd, and had a wonderful time together as usual! MMXII forever!

All my love,

Sarah Bazey
