Read and Romp 2011!

What is Read and Romp? Read and Romp is the ultimate combination of learning and playing! Children participate in activities and games that give them the opportunity to become their favorite storybook characters.  During the year, Reach out and Read hosts Read and Romp fundraisers in various cities in the country.  On November 13, the Boston Read and Romp will take place. 

The event features 12 storybook themed activities stations, a meet and greet with Clifford creator Norman Bridwell, children’s author and illustrator of Judy Moody, Peter Reynolds, musical entertainment by Stacey Peasley  and much more! Children ages 2-10 are welcome to attend and children under 2 are free.  Tickets are $50 and all proceeds benefit Reach Out and Read.  If you can’t make the Boston Read and Romp, no worries!  Read and Romps are held in Denver, Co, Birmingham, AL,  San Diego, CA,  Columbia, SC and many other cities near you.  Be sure to Like Reach Out and Read’s facebook page to make sure that you don’t miss out on your area’s Read and Romp!
