Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Getting closer and closer to the holiday season makes me super excited. It is finally October! A lot of joy comes from the holidays but Halloween may not be the most frightening thing for some folks. As I am sure most of you may know October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Here in the south, cheer leading and football teams are all about complete pink out during October. Standing on the side lines with pink bows in our hair while watching our boys play football with pink shoe laces and socks never fails to warm my heart.

There are so many ways to support Breast Cancer Awareness month from wearing a clothing item of pink everyday of October or signing up for local walks. I will be participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and I cannot wait to get my pink out on! Remember that there is always a time and a way to make your mark. In October you can make your mark by participating in Breast Cancer Awareness month.
