Genzyme & National Wear Red Day

I love my career as a Musculoskeletal Specialty Manager with one of the world’s leading biotech companies….and I love my company even more for supporting NATIONAL WEAR RED DAY and allowing me to have the day off to be in New York City! Ask your employer about participating in National Wear Red Day, February 4th. Make it your mission to stop the #1 killer!

Genzyme & American Heart Association
Wear Red on Feb. 4

February 4 is National Wear Red Day

Did you know...

That heart disease is still the #1 killer of women, taking the life of 1 in 3 women each year?

Did you know...

That heart disease claims the lives of 433,000 American women alone each year?

Did you know...

That we can make a difference?

The American Heart Association's Go Red For Women works everyday to fund research and fight this killer so that more women can be saved. But they need our help. Please celebrate National Wear Red Day on Feb. 4 to raise awareness about heart disease and the funds to ensure the research that could save a woman's life won't have to be denied.

It is in the American Heart Association’s mission and belief that together we can make a difference. This Feb. 4, we can join their mission, raise awareness and rally support to combat this silent killer!

How we can make it our mission to fight heart disease:
• Wear red on Feb. 4 and encourage your teammates and other co-workers at Genzyme to do the same.
• Purchase an official GO RED pin. All proceeds go to the American Heart Association.
• Share information with the women in our lives about heart disease and how we can fight back.
• Love our hearts by being physically active, eating a heart-healthy diet and being educated about heart disease and its risk factors.

On Feb. 4, let's make it our mission to save lives. Together we can make a difference.
