Heart Health Awareness Month

February is fast approaching which means Heart Heath Awareness Month is coming too! As an ambassador and spokesperson for the American Heart Association, I encourage all of you to become involved in one way or another. Here are a few simple ways you can become involved this upcoming month.

1. Wear Red!
February 3rd is Annual #GoRedWearRed Day. On this day everyone is encouraged to wear something red or go all out and post a picture. This is a huge part of our campaign, please join us on promoting such an important cause.

2. Participate in Events
During the month of February, lots of local American Heart Association branches host different classes and luncheons. If you can take a CPR class, or attend a luncheon to learn more about the American Heart Association and Go Red for Women.

3. Join Go Red Get Fit
Are you wanting to work out and live an overall healthy lifestyle but don't know where to begin? The #GoRedGetFit Facebook group would be great for you to join! Not only do you learn workouts from professional trainers but also recipes that are heart healthy . Not to mention you get to meet thousands of other people who have accepted the same challenge as you!

If you have any questions feel free to reach out to me or look them up on the American Heart Associations Website:
